Football Academy

The Academy is one of the ways in which we are working to connect with the local community

We offer football training for School years 1 -7 on Saturday mornings. The cost is £1 per session.

We meet at this time most Saturdays during the season and early summer in Swan Mead Park which is opposite the church building in Church Road Vange.

We welcome all children regardless of sex, faith and ability, and you do not have to be associated with the church to come.

We offer training in a fun and safe environment.

Friendly matches are arranged during the season in which the children can put what they have learnt into practice. These matches are against churches who organise similar sessions to ours.

Whilst it is nice to win, no pressure is put on the children to do so.  We believe that at these ages it is important to take part and enjoy the game and not have to worry about the result. All children who come training are given a chance to play some part in the matches.

The training is run by Bob Dale and Mark Barford who are both FA qualified coaches.
